I worked for a while in the psychiatric unit. There was one girl who was seventeen and she was hurting herself pretty badly. I found her at one point. I used to try and help her have a normal life. We used to chat and I tried to give her a social life. I’ll always remember her.
Working with so many sick people makes me realize how important it is for me to appreciate that I’m not sick. We need to appreciate our health, because we may not always be healthy!”
About 500 Coffees ☕️
I'm on a mission to get coffee with 500 strangers from all over the world. I want to speak to humans everywhere about their lives and how they experience the world. And cafes are the perfect place for this. Comfortable, cosy, illuminated with a cacophony of other human voices.
