“As I get older I begin to notice that perhaps my parents are not the invincible heroes that I once thought that they were. In fact, they’re normal humans as well. They have flaws, they make mistakes. They’re not invincible. They’re not omnipotent or omniscient.

I’m afraid of losing someone I’m really close to. It might sound like a cliche answer but it’s the truth. I’m currently living in a different country to my family and we don’t speak every day. I have my own life and problems to deal with, and I just have to trust that they’ll still be there when I return.”

About 500 Coffees ☕️

I'm on a mission to get coffee with 500 strangers from all over the world. I want to speak to humans everywhere about their lives and how they experience the world. And cafes are the perfect place for this. Comfortable, cosy, illuminated with a cacophony of other human voices.
